Center for Sustainable Urban Development: Agenda 2030: Local Projects Challenge SURVEY: launching December 1 in six languages

“ HOW ARE the SDGs TRAVELING in YOUR WORLD?” A Center for Sustainable Urban Development  at The Earth Institute | Columbia University project.

The Survey will launch on DECEMBER 1 in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Hindi and Mandarin.

The Agenda 2030 Design, Planning and Policy Studio: Local Projects Challenge.

The  aim of this international project is to  accelerate awareness of the SDGs and the NUA  through practical action, including  action in  communities where the SDGs and NUA  may not be well known. Through the three stages of this project we hope to engage city maker communities in education, the urban professions and civil society, and to include women and young people in all its stages .

Stage 1, 2018: ASK + learn (City Maker Survey)

Stage 2, 2019: ACT + learn (Local Projects Challenge)

Stage 3, 2020 : SHARE + learn ( WUF10 Abu Dhabi and other venues).

The Local Projects Challenge will launch in February 2019, and close on December 7, 2019. It will be open to all ‘city makers’. A hands-on experience, it will build on lessons learned through the  Global Studio  (a WUC Associate  Partner since 2013) and the traveling exhibition People Building Better Cities .
