Sound Development London X UN Habitat - Urban Thinkers Campus

Sound Diplomacy is part of the UN Habitat's Urban Thinkers Campus, a network that organizes events in order to promote, support and further develop strategies towards meeting the UN's sustainable development goals (SDGs). As a result, we're thrilled to partner with the United Nations to present the eighth edition of Sound Development, an exploration into music, real estate, and sustainability.

Can we create leisure led developments where the music & culture that drives it is done sustainably and supports the SDGs? Can we ensure gender parity? Fair pay? Zero-waste? To discuss, we'll amass a terrific panel and two presentations, with speakers so far confirmed from the UN, Arup, Oxford Policy Management and others.

The theme of the evening is “Inclusive Growth: Using Music & Culture To Enhance Resilience in Cities” and attendees will range from council members to university professors, from NGO managers to festival organizers, from architects to recording studio managers and many more.
