I'm a City Changer in Africa

The World Urban Campaign is proud to announce "I'm a City Changer in Africa," which will expand upon the current "I'm a City Changer" movement to increase engagement and collaboration in Africa in particular. The new movement will be launched at the Africities Special Session entitled "I'm a City Changer in Africa / Change ta Ville en Afrique" on Wednesday, 05 December from 4.00 to 6.00 PM. The Senegalese Campaign "Defar Sama Deuk' will be presented as the first campaign in Africa. During the session, regional partners of the World Urban Campaign (UCLGA, ENDA, IAGU, APA and AUA) will discuss the Manifesto for Cities and the particular issues to be addressed in Africa. The Africities Summit will take place in Dakar, Senegal from 04 to 08 December 2012, and its theme will be "Building Africa from its Territories: What Challenges for the Local Governments?"
