How partners can contribute to Habitat III

In order to prepare the partners for the Habitat III process, WUC has initiated the General Assembly of Partners (GAP). The GAP is a broad-based deliberative platform for non-governmental partners to develop a joined outcome document, The City We Need. There are 3 different ways how partners can contribute to The City We Need.

New Urban Thinkers Campuses approved

Following the 3rd and last Call for Proposals, the World Urban Campaign (WUC) Standing Committee members approved an additional 11 applications to host an Urban Thinkers Campus (UTC) which now brings the total number of approved UTCs to 28.

This launch is leading to the forthcoming Urban Thinkers Campus to be organized by GMF with the support of the Xuzhou Tongshan District Government in the process of setting up the City Sustainable Development Center.

A global campaign to collect and consolidate city-wide data on informal/slum settlements as the basis for inclusive development between the urban poor and local governments. It is a programme seeking to refine and standardize data collection processes across the SDI network.
