WUC ELECTION RESULTS: 13 Partner Constituent Group Chairs elected

Nairobi, 27 October 2020 – The WUC Partner Constituent Group (PCG) Chairs election was held from 20 to 25 October through an on-line process supervised by the WUC Secretariat. It has attracted a total of 18 candidates in ten PCGs. Thirteen candidates, nine men and four women (30 percent) have been chosen and will take their new positions during the upcoming World Urban Campaign Assembly.

The two above candidates obtained the same amount of votes.

PCG 8. BUSINESS AND INDUSTRIES
 
PCG 10. PROFESSIONALS
The above three candidates obtained the same amount of votes.
 
PCG 15. OLDER PERSONS
 
Congratulations to the elected candidates!
They will introduce themselves at the upcoming WUC Assembly to be held on Tuesday 3 November from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Central European Time. Join the Assembly to meet your PCG Chairs.
There are still five unfilled positions for the following PCGs: 1/ Trade Unions and Workers; 2/ Parliamentarians; 3/ Medias; 4/Persons with Disabilities; and 5/ Farmers. Elections will be held in the course of 2021 as soon as constituencies are able to attract new organizations and candidates.
