Tomorrow, 18th April, is the International Day for Monuments and Sites (#IDMS), which is celebrated each year on April 18th. This year's IDMS theme is HERITAGE CHANGES, searching for the answer to the question: "How can traditional knowledge inform innovative and transformative climate action?" as announced by ICOMOS.
Eastern Mediterranean University Urban Research and Development Center is organizing a #webinar to celebrate #InternationalDayforMonumentsandSites(#IDMS2023) with its holistic thinking of the role of heritage as a driver and enabler of #sustainabledevelopmentgoals.
Following the main intention of #ICOMOS, our webinar will focus on "Vernacular Settlements and Climate Action". Our speakers will focus on #vernacularheritage in relation to #climateaction through cases from different regions, such as Turkey, Jordan, West Africa, and Cyprus, while also addressing #SDGs.
Please register and join us on #18 April at 4:00 pm (CET) / 5:00 pm (Cyprus) through: https://urdc.emu.edu.tr/en
