This is to inform you that the deadline for applications to the new Urban Thinkers Campus Series (7.0) has been extended to 20 November 2021.
The new UTC Series is on the theme 'The City we Need NOW!' on the lead to the World Urban Forum (11th edition, Katowice) to focus on 'Transforming our Cities for a Better Urban Future'.
'The City we Need NOW!' in a nutshell:
We are off-track to achieve the SDGs by 2030!
Urgent action is needed to make sure that no more people and places are left behind.
Cities can be accelerators for the SDGs implementation.
We need to revisit the New Urban Agenda to refocus actions in cities.
We need to promote solutions and take action to deliver the City WE need NOW!
UTCs should focus on solutions in 'The City we Need NOW!' action areas:
